That’s how many units Nelly’s Brass Knuckles sold in it’s first week of sales.
Ouch.
Hell, Nas’ washed up, old ass sold more than that his first week out. I mean, the album cover alone whould have been worth 150,ooo units…damn.
I can’t say i”m surprised. Outside of Wayne no one has been pushing any real numbers this year. Hip-hop has really turned into a singles/ringtones business. Who buys whole hip-hop CD’s anymore? It’s a mess. I like Nelly though. I hope the album can at least go gold and if his money is right this failure shouldn’t upset his bottom line.
Hell, his girlfriend is suffering professionally as well. Now at least she has some company.
