Gheto Fabulous - Referring to the style of nouveau riche people who have grown up in ghetto or urban areas. The combination of bad taste, an urban aesthetic and desire to wear one’s wealth. Basically high-priced but tacky clothing and accessories.

While I won’t go so far as calling NeNe tacky and having bad taste, I will say she wears her wealth and acts like a person who didn’t have much of it growing up. She’s loud and uncouth but out of all the Housewives she’s the one I like the most and the one who seems to be the most honest and friendly. She’s a heifer to be sure but she seems like she’s the “ride or die” type when it comes to her friends. If she’s down for you then she is down for you. She is solidly in your corner and will be there for you no mater what.

She strikes me as being overly sensitive and having a “I’ll cut you Bitch”mentality but a lot of fun nonetheless. Watching her and Kim party was hilarious. Someone needs to remind them they are not twenty years old anymore. And boy, I would have paid good money to see her slice and dice Sheree. That heifer stone cold played NeNe. Of all the names to “accidentally” leave off of the list? Then the heifer had her escorted out by security guards AND didn’t have the decency to go outside and rectify the situation? She sent one of her minions out instead? She deserved to be slapped…and NeNe showed her ghetto fabulous ass with all the fussin’ and cussin’ she was doing.

I’m going to enjoy the hell of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. I only watched the other seasons sporadically. Watching a bunch of privileged white women act a fool didn’t really do it for me. But watching a bunch of privileged Black women act a fool…well, that does it for me every time…reminds me why I need to move back to Atlanta. I will be waiting…with some popcorn ready…for Tuesday to watch the next installment of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
