The BET Honors took place over the weekend and while she wasn’t singing, no one can argue that Whitney’s “comeback” was a big hit. She look stunning and more like her pre-drug addict self. Clean and sober (I’m assuming) is a good look for her.

The BET Honors honors the accomplishments of prominent African-Americans.  This year Mary J. Blige, Magic Johnson and Tyler Perry (why?) were honored.  They even managed to find Anita Baker who was one one the artists paying tribute to Mary J. along with Monica who performed “Not Gone Cry,” looking very Mary-ish herself.

Sorry, but damn Cookie. You knew your hubby was being honored. You shoulda got that dress in a bigger size. I know you’re small up top, but those are black girl hips and thighs and they need some room. You shoulda just gone up and size and got the dress tailored. You’ve got the money…no excuse. No excuse.

Ms. Bassett is looking FIERCE! Love the do. Now if she’d stop actingin these made for tv movies (Meet the Browns/Notorious). SMH
