Apparently Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster is having severe complications after havng plastic surgery in Brazil. From the Daily news:

Usher canceled a performance Saturday night to rush to his ailing wife’s side, according to a report.

The R&B singer skipped Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy bash after his wife Tameka experienced complications from plastic surgery in Brazil, ”Access Hollywood” reports.

A neurosurgeon is reportedly on the way to South America to aid Usher’s wife of a little over a year.

Obviously this is going to draw comparisons to  Kanye West’s mom who dies after having plastic surgery done here in the states. The fact that Tameka was in Brazil having surgery makes this case even more odd. Why Brazil? It’s not like she can’t afford surgery here. And what was she having done that required them to send a neurosurgeon down to Brazil? A neurosurgeon?

Also, didn’t she just pop out a baby? Where are the kids? This is all quite distressing. You hope and pray that not only does she make it, but she doesn’t emerge form this with any permanent damage. There are obviously still a lot of questions that need  to be answered and my prayers are with Usher, Tameka and their family.
