Usher was Right - No Apologies Needed

Published by tsjohnson5 under 2804 Edit This

By now I’m sure you’ve seen this video, if you haven’t take a look. What you see is Johnta (and others) riding Christina Millian about her new look and folk commenting on how the new “Ike and Tina” are “back in love again.” Usher is actually pretty mild on the whole video. Johnta is the one doing most of the riding, but Usher does make one really good point: Chris Brown shouldn’t have been on those Jet Skis.

What Jet Skis you say? Well if you’ve been living under a rock Chris Brown was photographed a few days ago having a grand ol’time in MIA, living it up and Jet sking just a few weeks after he (allegedly) beat the shit out of his girlfriend. Exhibit A:

Yeah. Not a good look when the picture of your girlfriend all battered and bruised was just released not too long before. The first pics of you need to be you looking sad, contemplative and remorseful…not living it up like some care free frat boy. Anywho, Browns fun pics were fodder for the Ocean’s 5 and while some may argue it was in poor taste…it was definitely dead on.

So today, after the above vid had made its rounds, Usher issued an apology:

“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

Personally I think that’s a pussy move, ‘caues what he said wasn’t so bad. Chris shouldn’t have been running around looking all happy and carefree when the first pics released of his girlfriend after the beat down was of a sad, contemplative Rihanna…not of a check living it up. Exhibit B:

You know, if i were the prosecutor, I’d try and ut Chris under the jail just for those pics alone. I’m just sayin’.
